What is the difference between christian dating and "normal" dating?

The difference between Christian dating vs. normal dating is very different.  Dating from a Christian perspective, is solely influenced by biblical principles of loving one another, rather than dating for a simple selfish point of view.  It comes from a perspective of, if it doesn't work out, who cares about that other person POV.  A christian perspective of dating includes, honoring the other person despite if it works out or not.

eg.  not stringing someone along, just b/c your lonely, being honest and direct with your intentions rather than beat around the bush
